Symptoms: Tooth felt sensitive. Food got impacted between teeth.
Problems: Defective filling with marginal leakage and open contact between teeth.
If it had been left un-treated, it would have caused decays on the tooth and the adjacent tooth, gum inflammation and infection because of food impaction.
We replaced the old filling. On x-ray, it showed that the new filling achieved tight contact with good margin.
